Allan Connolly

Group President of Hubbell Utility Solutions

As President, Allan leads all Business Units within the Hubbell Utility Solutions (HUS) Group. Connolly came to Hubbell as part of the acquisition of that company in February 2018. While serving as President of Aclara, he oversaw the strategic direction of the company and was instrumental in executing the company’s strategic plan that positioned the brand for growth in the U.S and internationally. He joined the company as the president and CEO in May 2014 when Sun Capital purchased Aclara from ESCO Technologies. He was instrumental in establishing Aclara as a stand-alone, privately-held company with strong financials and executing a strategic plan positioning Aclara for growth, leading to the recent acquisition by Hubbell Incorporated.

Before joining Aclara, Connolly served as chief operating officer of Culligan International, a world leader in the water treatment industry, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the $500 million business, as well as the fast-growing Industrial Water Treatment business. As the COO, he oversaw Culligan’s engineering, research and development, manufacturing, quality and supply chain functions. Earlier, he gained broad global leadership experience with GE and BHP Billiton.

Connolly earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wollongong, in Australia, and holds a doctorate in control systems engineering from the Australian National University.


Guillermo Locht

VP, Aclara Operations and Manufacturing

Locht is responsible for improving overall operational effectiveness for Aclara, overseeing end-to-end global supply chain activities, and ensuring customers receive quality product at the right time.

Before joining Aclara Locht held various leadership roles in P&L, general business management, and global supply chain management. He most recently served as VP and GM for Enduro Composites. Prior to that he was Director of Operations for Eaton as well as spending 13 years with General Electric in a variety of manufacturing roles.

Locht earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico De Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business in New York City, NY.


Kumi Premathilake

Division Vice President, AMI and Services at Hubbell Utility Solutions

Kumi Premathilake leads the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and services division at Hubbell Utility Solutions. She is responsible for driving the expansion in smart infrastructure solutions and advancing marketing capabilities across her division. Prior to joining Hubbell, she served as SVP of Advanced Metering Infrastructure at Aclara where she led the company’s transformational growth.

Premathilake brings 20 years of multi-industry experience that spans product management, marketing, and engineering and includes senior-level position at Johnson Controls where she was responsible for the Power Solutions business. She started her career at Culligan International’s commercial and industrial division.

Premathilake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, Chicago.


Rick Riccardi

Senior Vice President, Major Projects

Riccardi is a senior executive in the AMI industry with more than 15 years’ experience managing the development, sales and marketing of advanced metering systems. He was president of Hexagram, one of the early leaders in fixed network AMI systems and now part of the Aclara portfolio. Riccardi has held several other executive positions with Aclara, including strategic account management, marketing and technology.

Riccardi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Business degree from Cleveland State University.


Michael Savitsky

Vice President - Senior Executive Smart Grid Solutions and Professional & Technical Services

Savitsky is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Smart Grid Solutions business unit, the Professional Services Group, and the Enhanced Utility Services at Aclara.
He brings to Aclara more than 25 years managing a diverse workforce running sales, service, and construction operations and providing strategic leadership in business, technical and administrative programs. Savitsky’s extensive operational experience includes senior-level positions at KONE Elevator where he served as General Manager for the company’s New York Metropolitan District, as well as United Technologies Otis Elevator Company, where he was Vice President and Regional General Manager.

Savitsky earned his MBA in General Management, at Hofstra University Zarb School of Business and holds a BS in Management from St. John’s University College of Business Administration.
